We cater to clay lovers of all skill levels, fostering a fun, supportive atmosphere where we lift each other up and celebrate every single masterpiece (and beautiful mess!) that comes out of the kiln.

Studio Memberships for Independent Potters

Ready to take your pottery practice to the next level? River City Clay offers Studio Memberships for experienced potters in Midlothian, Virginia, serving artists from across the Richmond area who want the freedom to create on their own schedule

After approval by our Studio Manager, Lee Hazelgrove, members enjoy access to the studio for up to 18 hours a day, seven days a week. Choose from two membership options: an Associate Membership for up to 30 hours of studio time each month or a Full Membership with unlimited studio time to support your creative practice.

Workshops & Special Events

From one-time pottery workshops to seasonal events and specialty classes, River City Clay offers lots of different opportunities to explore clay. Previous Workshops have included: Raku, Make Your Own Glazes, Saggar, Slip Casting, Cone 10, Brushmaking and others!
